Modern Evolution is based on the simple concept that design should help solve problems, not perpetuate them. Creative and strategic thinking can make things more interesting, more effective, more sustainable, more fun, and just plain better — for ourselves and for the world around us.

We aim to promote a culture of positive creativity. So, like a mother bird feeding her young, we chew up anything that we find to be cool and inspirational then spit it out into smaller, more digestible chunks for you to enjoy.

This site is published by Jeff Oeth, a graphic designer from Madison, WI currently based in Denver, CO. Jeff updates Modern Evolution regularly with the support of several other creative thinkers, including his girlfriend Amy who is studying urban planning at UC Denver.

This site is built with Tumblr, which is a little different from your standard blog. Only the “text” posts have titles, while the other posts (photos, videos, quotes) are smaller bits with no titles.
